“What is going on here?” Germouser meowed angrily as he rounded a corner, following the loud noises that had disturbed him earlier. What he saw didn’t please him: his brother was on top of a (f/c) she-cat that was attempting to fight him off, teeth bared and claws sheathed.
“Bruder, get off her!” Germouser hissed loudly and both of the wrestling cats stopped.
“But she smells so good!” Prussy meowed miserably and tried to get to the she-cat again.
“That might very well be, Prussy, but that doesn’t give you the right to just jump me!” the she-cat hissed right in the tom’s face. “Now get off!”
“Get off!” “Fuck off!”
“Ja, ja,” Prussy meowed submissively and crawled off the she-cat and slinked away from the two.
The she-cat stood up as soon as Prussy was out of sight and huffed in exasperation and displeasure. Germouser did the same; sometimes his brother was too much of an idiot. The she-cat went over and sat next to the larger dark grey tom, her tail calmly swiping from side to side. Germouser looked down at her and saw her looking straight ahead with her (e/c) eyes forming a slight scowl.
“I’m sorry for what he did (y/n),” the tom meowed apologetically after a while and looked in front of himself in the direction (y/n) had been.
“No need,” she meowed calmly in response. “It’s not your fault. You can’t help he’s a horny idiot.”
“I-I suppose not,” Germouser replied slightly embarrassed and looked to the side (y/n) wasn’t sitting. To be honest, she did smell particularly good today.
“Besides, I think I should be glad it was him and not Franchat,” (y/n) nearly purred in amusement, while Germouser’s kitty-face scrunched in displeasure. But he supposed she was right, Franchat would have been nearly impossible to fight off in this kind of situation.
“I’ll have to admit, I sometimes wish that I was a guy,” (y/n) meowed with another huff making Germouser snap his gaze over to look at her.
“And why that?” he meowed curiously and the she-cat looked up at him with sincere eyes.
“Because then I wouldn’t have to suffer through heat every two months,” she admitted and looked away again.
Had cats been able to blush, Germouser’s face would have been the deepest shade of crimson. So that was it, she was in heat. That explained why she smelled extra attractive, then. And why Prussy had jumped her earlier. Germouser looked away in embarrassment.
“But there’s nothing I can do about it,” (y/n) meowed with a huff, “so I guess I’ll just have to endure, like every other girl does.”
“Mm,” was Germouser’s simple reply. This made the (f/c) cat beside him look up at him curiously.
“You okay there?” she asked and nudged his shoulder with her head. He stiffened at the contact, his tail standing up in the air, as if on full alarm. His fur even began to fluff up slightly, and his blush would have increased ten-fold.
“Ja, I’m fine,” he lied and averted his eyes to the side.
(Y/n) of course noticed all of the changes and wasn’t at all convinced by his answer. A frown formed on her kitty-face as she looked at him intently, scrutinizing him with her (e/c) eyes.
Germouser continued to look away from (y/n), not really wanting to face her in this state. Dear lord, if she knew-
“Something’s wrong with you,” a stern meow came from in front of the large, grey tom and he was surprised to see that (y/n) had moved to sit in front of him.
“No, it’s nothing,” he attempted to lie again, but his meow cracked and he looked away once more. How did he not hear her moving?
(Y/n) frowned even more at this, quickly getting tired of being lied to. She stood up again and sat down where Germouser was looking.
“Spill the beans, big boy; something’s up, I can tell,” she persisted, her tail swishing back and forth, though more in annoyance this time.
“I told you it’s nothing,” Germouser persisted as well and he sounded more composed now.
“It’s gotta be something if it’s got you that flustered,” (y/n) meowed back sternly, before her eyes suddenly lit up in glee. “Is it a girl?”
“Wha-?” Germouser started before he saw the look on the she-cat’s face. He huffed deeply and closed his eyes.
“Yes,” he replied simply and his whole stance calmed down a bit.
“Is she pretty?” (y/n) persisted sounding very happy and excited, her tail now vigorously going from side to side.
“Yes,” Germouser replied once again and calmed down even more.
“Do I know her?”
Germouser had to stop up and think for a second before he answered with another “yes”.
“You’re so flustered ‘cause she’s in heat, right?” (y/n) meowed in understanding, and Germouser’s sky blue eyes shot open. Oh god, did she know?
“J-Ja,” he replied and closed his eyes again, hanging his head down.
“You know, chances are that she wants it too,” (y/n) meowed in a comforting tone, and Germouser at once tensed up again.
“You think so?” he meowed in a strained manner and opened one of his eyes slightly.
“She’s in heat after all,” (y/n) continued nonchalantly, “so she’s at least as horny as the guys that smell her.”
Germouser’s entire air became one of shock and surprise. “At least as horny”? He processed that statement, before the cat-equivalent of a devious smirk crossed his dark grey face.
“Well why didn’t you just say so, Schatz?” he purred seductively and rubbed his head against (y/n)’s furry chest. What he didn’t see was the same expression cross her (f/c) face.
